FC-898 series metal access controller is a product in the "Fcard Electronics" one door access controller series. FC-898E metal access controller is an independent access controller (hereinafter referred to as "access control") specially designed for electric door locks and the security system is designed to support 4 doors opening methods such as proximity card (EM card and EM compatible card), password opening, proximity card + password opening, and wireless remote control remote opening methods. Users can choose their own suitable door opening methods according to their needs.

Access control programming settings are carried out directly on the password keyboard, without a computer, and the operation is simpler. The access control keyboard self-locking function, the user can set the number of keyboard errors and preset the keyboard self-locking time, which can effectively prevent others from detecting the door password. Anti-dismantling alarm function, when the device is dismantled under working condition, the access control will start the alarm output and prompt sound.

The access control supports illegal door opening alarm. If the device detects abnormal door opening through the door magnetic switch signal, the access control will start the alarm output and prompt sound. The access control has strong anti-interference ability and self-diagnosis protection function to ensure the normal operation of the system safely and effectively. It can store up to 20,000 sets of door opening data information (including proximity card opening data, password card opening data, proximity card + password opening data, wireless remote control opening data), and all stored information will not be lost due to power failure. At the same time, the access control supports doorbell output, which can be used with wired doorbells. This access controller is powerful and easy to install. FC-898E access control supports the "firewall" function. FC-898E with firewall function can support identifying those cards that are copied, so as to intercept them so that the copied cards cannot be opened normally.

Connection Port Performance:

1. + 12V: Working power supply anode, input range: DC9-13.8V.

2. GND: Working power supply cathode, signal common ground.

3. OPEN: Exit button switch, low electric unlock.

4. DOOR: Door status switch, connected with door sensor switch low electric means door closed.

5. Bell: Doorbell switch.

6. WG0: Wiegand 26 card reader data line(WG0).

7. WG1: Wiegand 26 card reader data line(WG1).

Lock Output Wiring Port: (electric lock control output)

1. NO: Relay normal opened point, current load capacity is DC 30V/10A

2. COM: Relay common point, current load capacity is DC 30V/10A

3. NC: Relay normal closed point, current load capacity is DC 30V/10A

Alarm Output Wiring Port: (alarm signal output)

Reset Key:

Press the RESET button and keep 2s, buzzer sound with one time means the management password, unlock keeping time etc parameters are restore to default value, unlock keeping timeis 5s. Then, press the RESET button with 5s, buzzer will sound two times, green light flashing. At the same time, the device are formatting the memory, all passwords and cards data will be deleted. the formatting time is according to the memory contents, short maybe some seconds, long maybe 2 minutes.

Anti-dismantling alarm: After the device is installed and used, if the device is removed in the working state, the alarm switch will be triggered, the buzzer will emit continuous short sounds, and a set of alarm output ports will be provided.

Illegal door opening alarm: After installing the door sensor switch, this function is automatically activated. If the device detects abnormal door opening through the door sensor signal, it will sound a continuous alarm and the alarm port will output low level.

Locking status monitoring: It is only effective for electric bolt locks, and a magnetic switch is required. The device detects the state of the door, and only after the door is closed and stable, the device activates the locking signal to avoid the impact of the electric lock bolt when the door is locked when it swings.
